proudly assisted with the recreation of an adaptive version of the Building a Champion curriculum for the Blackhawks Foundation. 

This curriculum was designed to elevate the core pillars of the Building a Champion program while incorporating social, emotional, and trauma-responsive strategies.  The Building Champions program is a 7-week after school program that takes place at Fifth Third Arena. The Chicago Blackhawks Foundation serves underprivileged and under resourced children in the city of Chicago.  

Invested was pleased to provide Youth Mental Health First Aid training to the staff of Bright Star! We hope the training is beneficial to every youth they have the pleasure of serving! We are looking forward to our next collaboration with the amazing members of Bright Star!  Bright Star Community Outreach's mission is to empower residents to share in the responsibility of building community through resource development and collaborative partnerships.   

Invested was honored to collaborate with Black Luxe Candles and The Self Care Spa Lounge for an afternoon of self-love and care! We are so excited to partner with those spreading the goodness of wellness! Tickets went quick as expected and an amazing time was held! We hope to see you all at an event in 2022!  Invested Consultant Firm currently has the pleasure of consulting with the Trauma Responsive Educational Practices (TREP) Project and has contributed to the creation of the 30 days of Mental Health campaign to encourage educators, parents, and caregivers to promote positive mental health.

The goal of this campaign is to help adults respond to how the pandemic has increased what was already a mental health crisis among American children and youth. 

Please feel free to share this campaign amongst your networks. This can be done by:

1.  Adding information to newsletters that you send out to educators and/or families.

Invested Consultant Firm was honored to facilitate a Corporate Wellness workshop for the live-in residential staff in Evanston, IL. The interactive session was well-received by the participants and the session was described by Karen Croteau

President of Boys Hope Girls Hope of Illinois as “going to the spa for your heart”.  

The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world.

The Day provides an opportunity for all people working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

Organic Oneness  is a grassroots, social justice organization that co-creates with communities to mobilize systemic change, healing, and wellness, foregrounding Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
